40′ Insulated Container
Insulated 40′ containers offer affordable, secure, warm and dry storage space for all year round storage – even in the harshest Nordic winters. Basic models include pair doors and ventilation. Insulated containers can be equipped with several accessories, ranging from lights to ready made workshops.
New Used 40′ Insulation
Our 12m insulated container, measuring 40′, is our largest and most popular model. If you require storage space without moisture issues, this container is the ideal choice. With a generous 40mm thick PIR insulation, it effectively prevents moisture from condensing inside the container, ensuring the contents remain dry.
Our insulated containers feature PIR insulation in the walls, door, and ceiling. The interior walls are constructed from white steel sheets, creating a well-lit space that is both easy to maintain and moisture-resistant. PIR insulation has the advantage of not succumbing to mold growth or losing its insulating properties over time. It offers up to 50% better insulation compared to wool insulation, allowing you to maximize the use of internal storage space.
We provide our containers with moldings that add a stylish finishing touch to the overall design. You have the option to choose between a new or used container as the base, and we will expertly fit it with insulation to meet your requirements.

Standard accessories for the 12m insulated container include double doors at the end and disc valves for ventilation. Additionally, we offer various add-on accessories, such as lighting, heating, and shelving, tailored to your needs. We recommend a radiator for winter storage, complete with a thermostat to maintain a consistent temperature. Other common installations include inlets, enhanced ventilation, and sturdy supports for your equipment.
The container's floor is insulated from below with 50mm of XPS, matching the default floor load capacity of more than 25,000 kg. This design facilitates smooth loading with a pallet jack, eliminating the need for an extra threshold.
Our 40′ insulated container is constructed using an ISO standard-compliant marine container, ensuring a lifespan of several decades. This container can be transported by road just like a standard container, providing versatility and longevity."
For international freight purposes, we provide SOC insulated containers that are suitable for international transport, just like standard containers. These SOC containers come with a valid CSC plate+stamp and meet ISO requirements. Please be aware that the floors of SOC containers are not insulated, and ventilation is managed through the container's built-in ventilation valves. When ordering, please specify if you require SOC equipment.
